Meghan Clark – Area 4 President

Meghan Clark copyMeghan served as Area 4 VP of Communications last term. Part of Crew 412 in Fountain Valley, Orange County Council, she served for 2 years as Vice President of Administration and then went on to be the Orange County Council VOA Vice President of Administration for 2 more years. Meghan went to the 2013 National Scout Jamboree and looks forward to the 2017 National Scout Jamboree as part of the Crew Contingent again. Meghan experience and dedication to Venturing is above and beyond most of the Venturers. She is currently attending Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California. She has earned the Pathfinder Award, Venturing Bronze, Gold, and Silver Awards, and is a Council Venturing Leadership Award recipient.

Sarah Chen – Area 4 Vice President of Administration

Sarah has been actively involved in Crew 1210 based in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, since she turned 14. Within her crew, she is the current Vice President of Program, and served as Orange County Council’s Vice President of Program Support. Sarah has earned the Summit Award, the Ranger Award, and the council Venturing Leadership Award for her dedication and passion in scouting. Aside from Venturing, Sarah enjoys light-hearted library sessions with her friends and classical singing.

Soham Patel – Area 4 Vice President of Communication

Screen Shot 2016-06-14 at 3.22.20 PMSoham Patel is a junior at Troy High School in Fullerton, California He belongs to Crew 871 out of La Habra and has served as the Orange County Council’s Vice President of Communication for two years. Outside of Scouting he is involved in Theatre, Speech and Debate, and organizes TEDxYOUTH conferences across Orange County. Soham is attempting to learn about 20 different languages right now.


Maddie Sesma – Area 4 Vice President of Program

She has been an active member of Crew 107, based out of the California Inland Empire Council, since the age of thirteen. Previously, she has served as the VP of Communications on her Council VOA. Through Venturing, she has earned her Venturer and Discovery awards, while working towards her Pathfinder, Summit, and Ranger. Maddie is also in her twelfth year in Girl Scouts and has earned her Bronze and Silver awards. Outside of scouting, she is a member of her high school’s instrumental music program. Maddie is fulfilling her second year as the band Vice President, and will be holding multiple section leader positions throughout her jazz ensemble, marching band, and symphonic band on a variety of instruments.
